MicroCorgi is a New York based jazz, funk, fusion band. with Yuto Kanazawa on guitar and synths, Andrew McGowan on keys and MicroKorg and Ilya Dynov on drums.

Andrew is a New Orleans born pianist who played with big names as Jason Marsalis, Wessel Anderson and Sasha Masakowsi in New Orleans as well bands as the Stooges Brass Band and The Session at venues such as Snug Harbor, The Jazz and Heritage Festival, and also many international clubs and festivals such as the Edinburgh Jazz festival and South by Southwest. After moving to NYC in 2016, Andrew played in all the major jazz clubs in NYC such as Blue Note, Minton’s, Dizzy’s, Smalls and Fat Cat.
Yuto released his first album Earthwards in 2013 featruing Grammy winning singer Kurt Elling from Interrobang Records . Next to that he performed with known musicians names such as Ed Cherry (Dizzy Gillespy), Don Pate (Sonny Rollins), Randy Jackson, Gregg Errico and Jerry Martini (Sly and Family Stone), Kuni Mikami (Lionel Hampton). Yuto is also a winner in jazz category of International Songwriting Competition in 2013. Yuto also started working regularly with many jazz singers including Rina Komai, Yuto joined her album played with Lonnie Plaxico and Lafayette Harris. Yuto contuniues playing in the major jazz clubs in NY such as Blue Note and Bar Next Door. Yuto graduated Berklee College of Music in Boston and currently lives in NY.
